Built-in protections (told honestly)
- Funds are protected in escrow (managed by the payment provider) until receipt is confirmed
- Once you mark the item as purchased, the buyer can no longer cancel (Terms, Art. 12)
- You can set a budget cap on your trip — no requests beyond what you can front
- Handover completes with a confirmation code (prevents he-said-she-said)

Frequently asked questions
When do I get my money back after fronting the purchase?
After the buyer receives the item and confirms receipt, you're paid the item price plus the reward together (Terms, Art. 11).
What if the buyer cancels midway?
Once you mark the item as purchased, the buyer can no longer cancel (Terms, Art. 12). If a post-departure cancellation does go through, compensation for the traveler who approves it is set out in the Terms. See the Cancellation Policy for details.
What about customs?
Under the Terms, checking customs rules and making declarations is your (the traveler's) responsibility (Art. 7). See the Customs Guide for the basics.
Can I choose what to carry?
Yes. Requests are accept-based — you pick based on the item, size, and budget. Prohibited and restricted items are banned by the Terms (Art. 14).
